I liked this because as much rationalizing as the main character did, I came away from it feeling like she’d lost something, like what she rationalized away really was important despite all the reasons it shouldn’t be.

It’s sad that this happens all the time, that the reasoning of the world reasons away our emotions. Personally, I believe every single emotion is important and deserves at least recognition. But that’s just me

In sum, I very much enjoyed your story.

I really enjoyed reading this. I remember feeling the same way about so many boys and I think you captured the hardening of a young woman’s heart perfectly. I think it is an unfortunate truth that women endure this, but here it is, wrapped perfectly in a bath towel.

I really did enjoy reading this.

It is so true that many times I have become so worked up over little things that, when framed in the scheme of bigger picture, don’t really seem to matter. Social events, distractions and other niggles sent to disappoint us should not get in the way of that ‘thing’ that means more than anything in the world.

I wish I had understood this sooner in my life.
