		<description>I loved this video.  Very generous of Ira Glass to share his own past work as an example of the learning curve involved in really mastering a craft.  

I think this is excellent advice for writers.  I also think that schools sometimes emphasize rewriting and polishing too early on, while what aspiring writers often need more in the beginning is to produce a lot of work and experiment with new approaches and techniques in order to grow.</description>
